The enormous crocodile is a book written by Roald Dahl, it was published in 1978 and remains a favourite of children’s story books to this day. It tells the tale of an enormous crocodile that goes trampling the forest telling all the other animals that he’s going to eat children. The animals all tell him that eating children is a horrid thing to do, but he tries to do it anyway by using his tricks to eat the tasty children.  But every time he tries to catch the children and have a snack the animals of the forest save them. Later on a giant elephant finishes the crocodile off by swinging him around in the air by his tail and letting him go until he flies into the ski carries on until he goes into the sun. This book is big at the moment as a TV series that is based on the book is expected to come out sometime this year.
